Come February and there will be another election season in some pockets of Gujarat. The State Election Commission will hold elections for 75 Municipalities, two district panchayats(Banaskantha and Kheda) and 15 Taluka Panchayats including Kheda district’s Kathlal and Kapadvanj Taluka panchayats, Gandhinagar district’s Gandhinagar taluka panchayt and Banaskantha district’s all 12 taluka panchayats. The areas under the elections will be again put under the model code of conduct after notification is issued in later part of January.
