Bihar Election Schedule: Biennial polls on 24 Bihar council seats on July 7
Biennial election for 24 Bihar council seats from the local authorities constituencies will be held on July 7.
The Election Commission announced today that the nomination would be filed between June 11 and 18, scrutinywould be done the next day while withdrawals can be made by June 22. Polling, if needed, will be held between 0800 hrs and 1800 hrs on July 7.
Counting of votes would be done on July 10. Model code of conduct came into force with immediate effect in the areas under the poll-bound constituencies that are due to fall vacant following completion of term of the sitting members, a Commission spokesman said.
