Chief Election Commissioner Om Prakash Rawat along with Election Commissioner Sunil Arora and Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha will be visiting State capital Raipur on a two-day visit on August 30. The Chief Election Commissioner will reach Raipur on August 30 evening. On August 31, the Chief Election Commissioner will be chairing marathon meetings with administrative and police officials.
Keeping in view the upcoming state general elections 2018 in Chhattisgarh, the Election Commission of India is organizing a review meeting on 31st August at Civil Lines based New Circuit House. During the morning session, the commissioner will hold a meeting with political parties. After this he will hold a meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary and Director General of Police.
After this meeting, all revenue will be Divisional Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Collector, District Election Officer and Superintendent of Police. The meeting will identify specially prepared at ground level. The ECI will then summarize the media in the meeting. According to the release on September 1, they will return to New Delhi during the morning.
