Third front v/s NDA v/s Grand Alliance

Majority (58%) of the respondents think Grand Alliance (JD(U)+RJD+INC) will be harmed by the new alliance of SP, NCP, Jan Adhikar Party (Pappu Yadav). Even supporters of UPA seem to feel this way.

Effect of PM Modi’s 1.25 lakh crore package announcement

Majority (60%) of the respondents think the announcement of 1.25 lakh crore package will benefit BJP in the upcoming Bihar polls.

Nitish Kumar has announced dedicated funds for fencing temples and has also announced inclusion of Nishads (Mallahs) and Nonia castes in STs. Do you think this will benefit JD(U) alliance in the polls?

The opinion is sharply divided on this matter. 50% of the respondents think people of Bihar should give one more chance to Nitish Kumar to become the CM of Bihar while 47% think otherwise.

45% of the respondents feel Sushil Modi (BJP) is the popular leader with clean & honest image, and he can best counter Nitish Kumar for the post of Bihar CM.

There seems to be a tie between Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar on popularity. Narendra Modi being slightly more popular among Urban respondents, 18-34 year olds and the Hindus.

46% respondents think there has been overall development in Bihar in the last one year under Modi’s regime  while an equal 46% respondents think otherwise. Urban respondents do not seem to agree with the statement.

Majority of the respondents (63%) have rated the performance of PM Modi as 'Good' or 'Very Good' with a mean score of 3.8.

Which alliance will form govt in Bihar?

49% of the repondents feel NDA [BJP-LJP-RLSP-Hindustani Awami Morcha (Jitan Ram Manjhi)] will  win in the Bihar polls, while 45% of the respondents feel that the Grand Alliance (RJD-JD(U)-Cong) would be the winner.

55% think that there should be Government by the same party both at the Centre and the State.

47% of the respondents think NDA (BJP+LJP+RLSP+HAM) is doing better on its planning, preparation and campaigning for the Bihar Vidhan Sabha elections, while 38% of the respondents think Grand Alliance (JD(U)+RJD+INC) is doing better.

 

Narendra Modi has been criticized for his choice of words and tonality in the recent campaigning, eg., “DNA of Nitish Kumar” and the manner in which the Bihar package was announced at the Arrah Rally.  Do you think Narendra Modi should use such words and language in the Election Campaign?
