London,(10:57)  Britain's Conservative Party and the Labour Party on Friday were competing closely to garner an overall majority in Thursday's general election. A party needs to win at least 326 of all 650 seats in the House of Commons to form a majority government. The Conservatives, headed by Prime Minister David Cameron, have till now, won 184 out of the total 650 seats, BBC reported.
