Madhya Pradesh by-polls: Over 70% voter turnnout in Madhya Pradesh by-polls
Bhopal, Aug 21 (IANS): Voting was peaceful Thursday in the by-elections that were held in three Madhya Pradesh assembly constituencies, officials said. Voters were seen queuing up to exercise their franchise at 7 a.m. in Vijayraghavgarh, Bahoriband and Agar assembly constituencies, officials said. Over six lakh voters in the three constituencies are eligible to exercise their franchise to decide the fate of 25 candidates.

- More than 70% of the electorate exercised their right to franchise until 5 pm
- Until 6 pm, 69.01% of votes were polled in Agar, 68.10% of votes were polled in Vijayraghavgarh and 75.20% of voters exercised their franchise in Bahoriband, sources said.
- Till 1 PM, 30% voters exercised their right to franchise
