BJP+LJP+HAM+RLSP 112-116

News Nation’s exit poll has predicted a close battle between RJD-JD(U)-Congress 'Mahagathbandhan' and NDA in Bihar Assembly elections. The Exit Poll has predicted that the 'Mahagathbandhan' will gain minimum 123 and maximum 127 seats.

According to the exit poll conducted by News Nation channel, ‘NDA’ is likely to get 112-116 seats, while ‘Others’ have been predicted to gain minimum 3 and maximum 5 seats.

News Nation’s exit poll has given 'Mahagathbandhan' a vote share of 46 per cent. NDA has been predicted to get 44 per cent votes, while ‘Others’ 10 per cent.

For the chief ministerial stakes, Nitish Kumar is in the lead followed by BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi, Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular)’s Jitan Ram Manjhi and Nand Kishore Yadav.

In the last elections in 2010, the ruling JD(U) won 115 seats in alliance with BJP, which itself had bagged 94 seats. RJD had won 22 seats, Congress 4 and Lok Jan Shakti party 3.

The JDU-BJP alliance broke in 2013 after Nitish Kumar announced that his party was walking out of NDA over the BJP's decision to anoint Narendra Modi as the chief of BJP's campaign committee for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
