The five-phased assembly elections in Bihar slated to begin in October will see many major parties sharing seats to contest the elections
In another major development, now Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Mulayam Singh Yadav led Samajwadi Party (SP) have joined hands to fight the electoral battle. NCP leader Tariq Anwar has been chosen as the candidate for the CM post, arguably to garner votes from Muslim community.
SP state president Ram Chandra Yadav has clearly said that SP will fight the elections with full vigour and is ready to host its first party meet on September 22. He also said that now people in Bihar have pinned their hopes to SP and the party will declare its candidate list on September 20. Yadav is expecting that many people will join SP and support it.
Jan Adhikar Party and Samras Samaj Party will be also contest upcoming state assembly elections in alliance with SP and NCP.
