Andhra Pradesh MLC Elections Schedule – 2015
Hyderabad: The Election Commission has announced the elections schedule for filling up the 12 MLC seats in the AP under the local bodies’ quota.
Elections will be held to fill the one vacant MLC posts each of Vizianagaram, East Godavari, Chittoor, Prakasham and Ananthapur and two MLC seats each of Krishna, Guntur and Visakhapatnam districts.

Elections code of conduct will comes into immediate effect in the state said the chief elections officer Banwarlal.
Party have already finalized their candidates:
Ruling TDP and the YSR Congress party have already finalized their candidates for these elections.
TDP is likely to field Payyavula Keshav (Ananthapur); Gali Muddu Krishnam Naidu (Chittoor); Pappala Chalapathi Rao (Visakhapatnam); Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy (Prakasham) and Reddy Subrahmanyam (East Godavari).
It has to finalize its candidates’ names for Krishna, Guntur districts. TDP is reportedly offering the second seat to former YCP leader Konathala Ramakrishna.
YSR Congress party will field Adi Seshagiri Rao (Krishna). Botsa Satyanarayana, who is planning to join the party on June 7th is likely to contest from Visakhapatnam.
