11:35 AM: Some Lok Sabha MP's entered the Well of the House demanding united Andhra and raised slogan "We want one state". While others raised slogans seeking separate state of Gorkhaland and Bodoland.

11:33 AM: There is uproar in Lok Sabha as MPs raised slogans seeking united Andhra and some demand statehood for Bodoland.

11:27 AM: Two TDP Rajya Sabha MPs rushed to the protesting against Telangana. Another MP was also in the Well on the Bodoland issue. None of the MPS raised the issue of suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal.

11:22 AM: Rajya Sabha adjourned till 12 pm as Seemandhra MPs were in the Well of the House.

10:58 AM: Cricketer-turned Rajya Sabha MP Sachin Tendulkar is present in the House along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar.

The Monsoon Session of Parliament is crucial for the government for the passage of the Food Security Bill. The government needs the support of Samajwadi Party to pass the bill but there has been a war of words between the SP and UPA over the suspension of IAS officer Durga Shakti Nagpal.

The SP has categorically ruled out revoking the suspension on the officer and has slammed the Centre for what it calls interference in the matter. In an indication that the SP is in the mood to take on the government it has said that it will not support the Food Bill unless there are some amendments.

Meanwhile, the BSP said it will raise the issue of suspension of IAS officer in Parliament.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is likely to corner the government on issues ranging from economy, falling rupee to Uttarakhand tragedy, Food Security Bill.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has appealed to all sections of the House "to ensure that this session is truly productive". He said a lot of time was wasted in the last two sessions and the government was willing to discuss every issue on the floor of the House. He added, "I hope the Opposition will cooperate with the government."

Of all the bills tabled in the Parliamnet, he said, Food Security Bill was the most important. "I hope Parliament allows us to convert the ordinance into a bill," he added.

On the issue of suspension of IAS oficer Durga Shakti Nagpal by the Uttar Pradesh government, he said the rules will be followed. "We are in touch with the state government to get all the details."

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath said the government is willing to extend the duration of the session beyong August 30 in order to pass the bills.

Speaker of Lok Sabha Meira Kumar has said that the leaders of all the political parties has ensured that the House will run smoothly.
