Complaint against Rahul Gandhi for travelling on the roof of a vehicle.
After Rahul Gandhi's visit to Kerala and participation in Yuva Kerala Yatra (YKY) fresh controversies are brewing as he sat on the top of police vehicle while taking part in the yatra.
According to reports, advocate Mujeeb Rahaman has filed a complaint at Nooranadu police station stating that under the Motor Vehicles Driving (MVD) Act travel by sitting on top of a moving vehicle is punishable and he had used state government's official vehicle for a party programme.
However the police state that so far they have not received any such complaint. The CPI (M) state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said that Rahul Gandhi was behaving like a joker and is the congress projecting such a joker as its prime ministerial candidate.
He also said that it is wrong on his part to sit on top of a police vehicle. Home minister Ramesh Chennithala retaliated stating that the CPI (M) couldn't stand the popularity and the number of people who turned up to greet Rahul Gandhi.source:ibnlive.com
