The Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India is made up of Members of Parliament (MPs). Each represents a single geographic constituency. There are currently 543 constituencies.

The maximum size of the Lok Sabha as outlined in the Constitution of India is 550 members made up of up to 530 members representing people of the states of India and up to 20 members representing people from the Union Territories on the basis of their population.

3 - Timarpur North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 7 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. Coming into existence first in the year 2008, as approved by the Delimitation Commission of India, the North East Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency is a Lok Sabha seat allotted to the National Capital Territory of Delhi.It held its first Lok Sabha elections in 2009. Located in the North East Delhi District, which was established in 1997, this parliamentary constituency is a politically active constituency in the Lower House of Parliament.

It presently comprises 40 municipal wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi with approximately 16 lakh voters and a population of approx 25 lakhs. East Delhi is one of the larger and highly populated Lok Sabha constituencies not only in Delhi but all over India. The constituency covers areas east of the Yamuna and has a large population, including Seelampur, Shahdara, Gandhi Nagar and Preet Vihar

5 - Badli North West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 7 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the Indian National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes. Earlier some parts of the constituency were included in Outer Delhi constituency and some parts were included in the erstwhile South Delhi constituency. The North West Delhi parliamentary constituency contested its first Lok Sabha elections in the year 2009, being won by the Congress.
The North West Delhi parliamentary constituency is one of the most densely populated regions of the Union Territory, estimating a population density of 8,254 inhabitants per square kilometer and with a population of 36,56,539 people. North West Delhi parliamentary constituency covers vast residential and commercial regions of Delhi, such as Saraswati Vihar, Rohini, Narela, Model Town and Mangol Puri. Â

27 - Rajouri garden West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency is one of the seven Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. This constituency came into existence in 2008 as a part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002. Earlier some parts of the constituency were included in Outer Delhi constituency and some parts were included in the erstwhile South Delhi constituency. This constituency fought its first elections in 2009, being captured by the Congress.  This region has been a Congress stronghold from the very beginning, even when the constituency was part of the erstwhile Outer Delhi seat. West Delhi parliamentary constituency covers vast residential and commercial regions of Delhi such as Janakpuri, Tilak Nagar, Punjabi Bagh and Patel Nagar, among others. A total of 10 assembly segments make up the West Delhi Parliamentary constituency as we know it today.

The seat was a stronghold of the Bharatiya Janata Party for many years but in 2009, after delimitation, INC won this seat. Currently Ramesh Kumar of the INC is the MP representing the constituency. Some of the most popular leaders such as Sushma Swaraj and Madan Lal Khurana of the BJP have remained MPs from the South Delhi constituency. This politically active and significant seat of South Delhi came into existence in 1966.South Delhi parliamentary constituency is one of the most densely populated regions of the Union Territory of Delhi, with an estimate of 10,935 inhabitants per square kilometer. Today, after the Delimitation Commission’s Order of 2008, this parliamentary constituency consists of 10 Assembly segments. Some of the most popular and historic tourist attractions of South Delhi constituency are the Deer Park and Rose Garden in Hauz Khas, Asoka Wildlife Sanctuary, the innumerable monuments in Tughlaqabad, the famous markets in Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar and Greater Kailash, among many others.
