With the announcement of the election in Haryana and Maharashtra, all the eyes are on Jharkhand election dates. Jharkhand is a state in eastern India and has 14 seats in the Lok Sabha of which 1 are reserved for Scheduled Castes and 5 are reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Jharkhand also sends 6 members to the Rajya Sabha. There are 82 Assembly constituencies in the state and the last Assembly elections were held on December 2014.

According to the latest available data, there are a total of 2,20,18,634 eligible voters in Jharkhand, of which 1,15,43,613 are male, 1,04,74,714 female and 307 voters of the Third Gender. The state is divided into 3 regions Santhal Parganas, North Jharkhand, South Jharkhand.

It is likely that election commission to announce an election in Jharkhand after the announcement of the result in Haryana and Maharashtra. It is likely that date will be announced somewhere between the 25 Oct to 1st week of November.

However, BJP has already got into election mode with a slew of strategy meetings of party office-bearers and announcements of big-ticket schemes in these states. Already many leaders from the state started connecting to their party workers.

Even polls are showing the similar news that wave is in favour of BJP and they are likely to retain their government in the state. It is also said that voters are pretty high satisfied with the schemes run by central and state government schemes as the benefit are directly reaching to the people at the root level.
Apart from this opponent party are on the back foot as the Modi wave that was started in 2014 is turning into a great Tsunami which is whipping even the prominent leaders in every state.

But however, it is largely believed that election result in Jharkhand will largely depend on the Result of Haryana and Maharashtra, the party who will grab a good vote share in these states will likely to get the similar trend in Jharkhand too.
