Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J. Jayalalithaa who is on a whirlwind election campaign for her party is likely to release the party's poll manifesto on Friday and also campaign again in her R. K. Nagar constituency the same day.

The AIADMK manifesto will have several significant assurances of considerable national worth outsmarting her political adversaries. She has already initiated numerous welfare schemes hitherto not taken up by any political parties in the state and all eyes will be on her manifesto.

According to sources Ms. Jayalalithaa is likely to release the manifesto at her Poes Garden residence and proceed straight to R. K. Nagar constituency or launch the document at the constituency where she is seeking reelection.

As per a release from the party headquarters, the election campaign schedule of Ms. Jayalalithaa has been rescheduled and she would address meetings at five locations in R. K. Nagar on May 6 after beginning the campaign from MGR Statue, Kasimedu.  She had kickstarted her tour of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on April 9 for the Assembly polls by addressing a rally in her R K Nagar constituency.

According to the revised schedule for May 5 to 12, Ms. Jayalalithaa would campaign in Perundurai (Erode district) on May 5, during her twelfth day campaign. After campaigning in R K Nagar the next day, she would leave for Thanjavur on May 8, Arakonam on May 10 and cover Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari districts on May 12, on her 16th day of election tour.
