Haryana Assembly Elections: Manifesto Committee constituted 23 panels

CHANDIGARH: Before finalization of party’s manifesto for the Assembly Elections 2019, Manifesto Committee constituted 23 sub-committee under the chairmanship of Farmer welfare minister Om Parkash Dhankar, who has a direct dialogue with cross-sections of society and intellectuals.

Mere Sapno Ka Haryana, it is a name coined by a committee headed Dhankar. An official statement said that as the name suggests, the Manifesto will be party’s oath and promise towards people of Haryana for the years between 2019 to 2024.

"Among those who have been given the charge of committees include the Union ministers, state ministers, senior MLAs, MPs, senior party functionaries and prominent faces of the party. These committees will gather information and will give a brief summary of expectations of people from the party," the spokesman said.

All this had been decided during the meeting held at Gurgaon. Apart from Dhankar, who chaired the meeting, those who attended the meeting included State General Secretary Ved Pal Advocate, media advisor to CM Rajiv Jain, Minister Krishan Chand Panwar, MLA Ranbir Gangwa and senior BJP leaders from Haryana.

Sources informed that besides this committee, the mobile vans of the party will also be pressed into the service to support the sub-committee.

In particular, all this began within two days after BJP launching a membership campaign in the Country. CM Manohar Lal Khattar had launched a campaign in Haryana.
