India Today Cicero Exit Poll: AAP looks set for majority in Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party looks set to win 38-46 seats and gain a simple majority in the 70-member Delhi Assembly, according to the India Today Group-Cicero exit poll. The BJP and its allies is likely to get 19-27 seats, according to the survey. The Congress could be down to 3-5 seats. Others may win 0-2 seats.

Delhi recorded a massive 67 per cent polling on Saturday. The counting of votes will take place on February 10. In the last elections, the AAP won 28, the BJP+ 31 and the Congress 8 seats.

Vote share projection
The AAP's final vote share projection stands at 42 per cent (up 10.9 per cent), says the exit poll.
The BJP's vote share projection is 36 per cent (up 2 per cent). The Congress' vote share projection is 7 (down by 8 per cent) per cent.
The vote share of the three parties in the last elections were BJP - 47.9 per cent, AAP- 32.9 per cent, Congress 15 per cent and Others 4.2 per cent.
