Congress workers on Thursday protested outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence here over the suicide by a farmer from Rajasthan during an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rally on Wednesday, officials said.

New Delhi, Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Thursday said that a report on a farmer's suicide at an AAP rally here on Wednesday had been submitted to the home ministry.
"We have submitted a report on the incident to the home ministry," Bassi told the media.
He added that an FIR had been registered on Wednesday.
Gajendra Singh, who hailed from Rajasthan, hanged himself from a tree in central Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
He was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.

New Delhi, (IANS) The suicide by a farmer here during an AAP rally caused an uproar in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, with opposition leaders demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi make a statement.
An uproar was caused soon after the zero hour with some opposition members trooping to the chairman's podium. Opposition members demanded a statement from Prime Minister Modi over the issue.
After a brief adjournment, as the house reassembled, Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad blamed the central government of NDA and AAP government in Delhi for the suicide.
As Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu said government is ready for a debate and the home minister will answer, opposition members again created an uproar leading to a short 15-minute adjournment.

Delhi CM seeks public opinion on budget
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday attended the first day of the "Janta Ka Budget" street corner meeting in Patparganj assembly constituency organised to take public suggestions on the budget.
"We believe in participation of public in preparation of their budget," he said, adding: "I strongly believe that not only Delhi but the entire nation will see a real democracy taking place in the national capital." "We are fulfilling the promises that we had made during election campaign in Delhi," the chief minister said.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who represents Patparganj in the assembly, said the people of Delhi would prepare their own budget and asked the people to vote on what work needed to be done.
"Vote for the projects you think need to be done by raising your hand. You might have raised your hands earlier for praising the leaders but now it is the time you raise hands for yourselves," he said.
"Raise your hands if you think that we should provide pension to the extreme poor people from this limited budget. Do not hesitate, it is your budget and you should decide the priority of the works to be done," he said.

AAP got 91 per cent of the total fund received by political outfits during 2013 Delhi elections
Total funds collected by all National and Regional parties which contested in the Delhi Assembly Elections, 2013, were Rs. 2272.91 lakhs. The Delhi government's revamped anti-graft helpline received 12,731 calls within 24 hours of being launched on Sunday.
The government said while it was analysing all the calls to segregate between frivolous and real calls, some complaints of corruption against officials of civic bodies and other departments have already been forwarded to its Anti-Corruption Branch.
"Several calls were related to complaints against the officials of Delhi Police, education department, transport department, Jal Board, Delhi Fire (Services)," an official statement said on Monday.
Efforts are being made to ensure that no call made on 1031 helpline number remains unanswered, it added.
