BJP and JDU-led alliances neck and neck in Bihar; but Nitish more popular than Narendra Modi

48 percent people who participated in the survey said JDU-RJD-Congress-NCP alliance will win the elections, where as equal number of voters said BJP-LJP-RLSP alliance will rule the roost.

52 percent said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was more popular in Bihar than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 45 per cent people said the Prime Minister was more popular.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar with 48 percent votes was chosen as the most popular leader in Bihar, with BJP’s Sushil Modi following as a distant second with 24 per cent votes. 13 per cent people said RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was the most popular.

Most suitable Chief Minister
52 percent voters say Nitish Kumar would be the most suitable Chief Minister of Bihar whereas 42 per cent voted for BJP’s Sushil Kumar Modi.


Nitish Kumar’s performance
70 percent of respondents said Nitish Kumar’s performance as Chief Minister was good. However, 62 percent people said the performance of BJP-JDU government was better.

Slightly more number of people (54%) feel Nitish Kumar should be given one more chance to become CM of Bihar whereas 44% are against it; majority of Muslims are in favour.

There is mix sentiments with 48% of respondents think Lalu Yadav has committed mistake announcing Nitish as CM whereas 47% don't think so. More Muslims seem think that it was not a mistake.              

Majority (61%) of respondents feel that BJP-led alliance will benefit more due to migration of leaders from both RJD and JD(U)
